About us

A small directory that tells the truth about itself

Seek Mover lists Malaysian house and office moving companies with the information we actually have, and says so plainly where we don't have any.

Why we built this

Search for a mover in Malaysia and you mostly find two kinds of page. The first is a lead-generation site: fill in a form, wait, and six companies call you, one of which paid the most to be there. The second is a listicle of “top 10 movers” with no disclosed method and a suspicious absence of anyone with bad reviews.

Neither tells you who is actually near you or what people who used them thought. So we built the boring version instead: 64 real moving companies, filed by region, with the phone number on the card and Google’s rating shown exactly as it stands.

What’s in it

  • 64 movers across 12 regions — the Klang Valley, Penang, Seremban, Johor Bahru, Ipoh and Kuching.
  • Ratings straight from Google Maps, copied without adjustment, including the 14 listings that have no reviews at all.
  • A phone number on every listing. That is the entire call to action on this site.
  • Domestic moves only. We don’t list international or cross-border relocation, which is a different service with different licensing.

What we don’t do

We don’t run a quote form, hold a lead queue, or pass your number to anyone. There is no paid placement, no featured tier and no way to buy a better position — the order is review count, and that is it. We are not a moving company and we have never carried anybody’s sofa; what we know about is the data, not the lifting.

We also don’t hide the gaps. Four of our city pages have one or two listings on them and say so on the page. Our service categories can’t filter yet because the underlying data has no service field, and every page that would use such a filter admits it instead of faking one.
